My name is Chris, I am a photographer based out of St. Louis. I mainly shoot street/urban landscape photography but I have no problem shooting whatever catches my eye. I think pigeonholing yourself to one genre of photography limits your creativity. When you shoot everything you miss nothing.
Forgotten Exposure the brand, was created by me as an alternative to social media. A place where I can share my art beyond instagram and if ever I decide to sell my art or branch off into different avenues of art I can do so beyond the limitations of the social media apps.
My photos are my own unique perspective of everyday life. In a day and age where many people lack perspective, I think its important to share your own. The medium in which I choose to do so is through my photos.
Generally I do this as a passion project, I enjoy sharing my art and showing off the photos I take. Therefore, I do not hold on to my greatest photos like some artists do, waiting for the perfect post, or only sharing them through paid means. I work hard and spend a lot of time out taking these, so when I do get a good one I want everyone to see it, not just the person willing to pay for it.
That being said, if you are interested in a print, a future book, or would like to commission my work, it can be done. Just shoot me an email or send me a DM on instagram and i'd be happy to work something out if I can. However this is not expected, and if you choose to just be a viewer that is fine with me and that is just as much support as someone buying or commisioning my art.
